Aomori Restaurant

At Aomori, northern Japanese flavors meet Maine’s seasonal ingredients, highlighting what’s fresh both locally and from Japan. Similar to a Japanese izakaya, the setting is friendly and casual, centered around good drinks and small shared plates. The menu includes regional Aomori dishes, Japanese cocktails and sake, and carefully made kanmi (desserts).

We’re a walk-in restaurant and bar with space for 44 guests inside. Outdoor dining is coming in spring 2026!

We take limited reservations for groups of 6–10. For anything bigger, send us an email — we’re happy to discuss.
